Elementary Educators: will participate in a variety of student assessment, evaluation, grading, and reporting.
EAs and DECEs: will participate in a variety of professional learning opportunities, which may include Virtual sessions in MH LIT – Mental Health.
Librarians: will participate in completing library duties, including processing new books.
Secretaries: will participate in professional learning opportunities which includes KD registration, Admissions, PowerSchool and Attendance Management, Finance - School Cash Online and Lunchbox.
February 2, 2024 - Secondary Only
Secondary Educators: will participate in a variety of student assessment, evaluation, grading, and reporting for Semester 1 and prepare for the start of Semester 2.
EAs: will participate in a variety of professional learning opportunities, which may include Virtual sessions in MH LIT – Mental Health.
April 8, 2024 - Elementary and Secondary Educators
Secondary Educators: will engage in learning to support student achievement in grade 9 and 10 courses (including de-streamed). Topics will include effective pedagogies for de-streamed classrooms, effective learning skills in high school, and transferable skills for the future.
EAs: will focus on understanding student strengths and needs and how to support students using principals of equity, diversity and inclusivity.
